This involved the transformation of an artisan cottage located in Rathmines Dublin into a contemporary living space. The enlargement of limited floor area of the cottage necessitated the lowering of the ground floor to enable the insertion of a sleeping platform. This added significantly to the floor area while not interfering with the living space.
