The refurbishment of a period house in Dublin 4 included the addition of two service units to accommodate a utility & wet space with the second space being home to the new dining area. The solution provided for two distinct characters, one being a timber introverted box the other being a glass cube allowing clear views from the mother house through to the garden beyond.
